About the Author
Jeffrey S. Nevid is Professor of Psychology at St. John's University in New York. He earned his doctorate from the State University of New York at Albany and was a Postdoctoral Fellow in Evaluation Research at Northwestern University. He has published numerous research articles in such areas as health psychology, clinical, and community psychology, social psychology, gender and human sexuality, adolescent development, and teaching of psychology. His research has appeared in such journals as Health Psychology, Journal of Youth and Adolescence, and Teaching of Psychology. He is the author of several leading college texts and is actively involved in developing new pedagogical approaches.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!! Sold as textbook - was actually a FREE instructor edition. This seller is making money off of FREE instructor materials from the publisher. Cover PRINTED (not stamped) as FREE. Even had comments asking instructor to remain ethical and return book to publisher if not used ...instead this person sold it for almost $100. TOTALLY UNETHICAL!!!! ...I just wish it was illegal.

I was so happy to have found this book used for only $80 on amazon. My friends recently bought their books at the school bookstore and was seriously overcharged! They payed at least $100 more than I had. I will always tell my friends to try amazon before going to the bookstore.
