Success is in the Balance. In the seventh edition of Psychology, John Santrock presents the perfect balance of big ideas vs. supporting detail, breadth vs. depth, and research vs. application, all framed by a pedagogical system that effectively guides the student through the key concepts of psychology. New learning goals launch each chapter and serve as the organizing mechanism for the text and supporting materials. These learning goals focus students’ attention on the big ideas of psychology. Rich applications and current research support the big ideas so that students emerge with an understanding of the key concepts, not a collection of details. Your success and your students’ success is in the Balance, and Santrock provides you with the balance you need to succeed.

1.0 out of 5 stars book was in bad condition, January 13, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
i bought it from : Oy Gevaltee Books
the condition was said to be "like new" but when i received it, every bold term was highlighted in the book, the edges were worn out, and pages of the book were folded in half and stuck in.
so i dont recommend the seller

The book came in much quicker then expected and in fairly good condition. All details about the book were correct. Over all I'd say it was excellent service.
