This review is from: Psychology of the Language Learner: Individual Differeces in Second Language Acquisition (Second Language Acquisition Research Series) (Paperback)
It is great to read a book by this excellent author, dealing with the largely under-developed field of psychology and language teaching. Dornyei has already opened important doors with his work on motivation, and in this book he goes further, taking us into the whole field of individual differences and identity, fields that are becoming increasingly more important in these days of regional Englishes (World Englishes) and English as a Lingua Franca. Dornyei is at the cutting edge of psycho-linguists and his books are always a motivational read.
