The extent of psychological problems, regarding peacekeeper mission deployment and post-deployment, is well documented in good and recent research done by experts in diferents branchs of applied psychology. Also are suggested psychological intervention measures and procedures during the peacekeeper preparation phases in order to achieve a more resilient peacekeeper for deployment in operations. The book contributes with a comprehensive approach about the issue and establishes some important points to minimize the likehood of post-deployment psychological problems caused by the peacekeeper's stress factors.
