Frank Bruno explains all the major psychological theories and terms in this book, covering perception, motivation, thinking, personality, sensation, intelligence, research methods, and much more. More About the Author

I was born in Glendale, California. My parents were born in Italy. I earned a B.A. degree in psychology from UCLA, an M.A. degree in psychology and a Ph.D. in psychology from the Claremont Graduate School, Claremont, California. I am the author of a number of nonfiction psychology books with major publishers including Think Yourself Thin, The Story of Psychology, The Family Mental Health Encyclopedia, and It's OK to Be Neurotic.

I have been employed in mental hospitals twice during my career, worked with a psychological group doing psychotherapy and psychological testing, and taught at the college level for more than forty years.

A science-fiction novel, Twinsouls, is available as an e-book with Amazon. This is a Doppelganger story, based on the notion that light speed matter transmission might, under certain circumstances, create a double of an original person.

I have nearly completed a novel based on life in a mental hospital.
