Not what I expected,

This review is from: The Psychology of Sexual Victimization: A Handbook (Hardcover)
For those considering this book, I have to admit it isn't what I expected based on the title. Definitely look at the table of contents in the "search inside this book feature" to see if it is what you're looking for before buying. I am primarily interested in research on sexual assault, which is why I purchased this book. Even the second section, sexual victimization in dating and marital relationships, focused almost exclusively on battering and physical abuse. Though I recognize that sexual and physical abuse are often defined as one and the same and when defined differently do sometimes go hand in hand, I was a little disappointed that the content focused so much on physical abuse. A little heads up for anyone who might be buying the book for similar reasons...
