Psychopathics from outer space pt II,
By Dave (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Psychopathics from Outer Space, Part 2 (Audio CD)
My review. 1)Intro---Quick and to the point 2)Conquer---Good beat. Kinda spaced. (Best verse: Violent J) 3)Hollywood Im coming---The twiztid diss track. KMK and Bubba sparks get bad. (B.V Madrox) 4)Oldie but goodie--Remake of Eshams old song. It sux. Im not a big esham fan. 5)Warrior--This is why ABK is not taken seriously. Dumb tracks like this. 6)10 Bodies- This gets me so hyped about Blazes new album. Cant wait for Colton Grundy. 7)Out there---Icp ft Bushwick. Bushwick was wack on here. But Shaggy Ripped it old school wicked style. (B.V Shaggy) 8)Y--zUG ISLAND is good backgroudn band..But not alone. 9)Demon Faces---Great track .Except Esham..(B.V Madrox) 10)True stories---Jump steady is underrated and should have more exposure on theri albums. Great lyrics. I was surprised. 11)SOme f**kin how---Jay is better than he has ever been and this track proves it. 12)24's on a 84--Shags seems out of place on this track. TNT and esham sound good though (Bv Esham) 13)Mr sesame seed--J and abk are so wack on here..I hate this track 14)dO IT--Shaggs..A great solo. Shags is talented and underrated 15)Yuwannahoe---Twiztid is amazing. Together they are unstoppable (BV monoxide) 16)Wicked wild---Great track..Again. Esham is wack. 2 live crew surprisingly were good. (B.V Shaggs) 17)We live--SOunds like a wraith track that icp could rap too. Good. But again they are a better beat band than a real song band. 18)B**ch shut up--Good beat. Blaze is the man. Once again. 19)Under the big top==I want Icp's Hellz Pit to be like this so bad. Its been a while since icp was wicked and they showed that they are the best st it. 20)Stayin alive--Abk ripped this song real good. I like it. It could have been on his album and held its own. 21)Killin spree---A great esham track. The changing beat is cool. I hate esham but I love this track. 22)Grave robbers--No one knew who the official Lotus roster was gonna be till this song. And it was ICP, twiztid, Blaze and Abk..Let us know that a new Lotus album was comin....(B.V Monoxide) 23)Free studio--A freestyle track. Every Psychopathic artist had a part on this track. Blaze, icp, twiztid, ABK, Jumpsteady, Esham, and The rude boy. (B.v Monoxide) All in all this album is great. Just wettend the appetite for psychopathics list of up coming albums for 2004. (Including, Lotus, Twiztid, ABK, aND blaze, and OH YEAH ICP )

This is a must have!,

Now here's an album you juggalos CANNOT shrug off. I expected this to be a good CD, but it far exceeded my expectations. It blows the prequel into outer space!! HAHA, o sorry bout that.....now if i could give this album ten stars, i would. It is a nearly perfect release from the one and only Psychopathic Records!! The only two songs that I felt could have been better were "10 Bodies" and "Killin' Spree". It just seemed to me that Blaze and Esham weren't tryin their best on these two tracks. Now don't get me wrong, they were still good, I'd definately rather listen to ANY psychopathic song than this typical mainstream crap. And what Blaze And Esham lack in these two songs, they more than make up for in "B*tch Shut Up" and "Oldie But Goodie." Blaze did an excellent job in "B*tch Shut Up". That has one of the hottest beats on the whole album. And "Oldie But Goodie" is hilarious. One of Esham's best. Now to the other artists on this album. It's amazing how much better Psychopathic has gotten in the last year or so. Now they've always been the sh*t and they've always been my favorite music artists since I first heard them, but the most recent releases are steps above the previous.Throughout the entire cd, ICP definately shines. They've improved enormously since they began rappin, Violent J in particular. And if you're worried ICP has lost its sense of humor, dont even think about it. They still got their skills with makin you laugh. There are some hilarious tracks on here. I found myself laughin almost every track. And MAD props to Shaggy for "Do It". Even tho it was short, it was a mad fresh solo. My anticipation for his solo album has been increased like 10 times. I was surprised at his skill on this track. On top of that, there's a new Dark f*ckin Lotus song! And a fresh freestylin track at the end. "Conquer", "Some F*ckin' How", "Out There", "Under The Big Top", and "Stayin' Alive" are some of the other really really really good songs on here. Another thing I liked about this album was all the guest appearances. Not only do the many artists of Psychopathic show their skills on the mike, but we got TNT, Fish & Grits, Bushwick Bill, and Fresh Kid Ice addin to the diversity (I might have missed somebody). All the different styles combine to make a hott hott CD. Now don't be worried about buyin a short album, cuzz this sh*t has 23 tracks and is whut...like 79 minutes. It's worth every penny, so get yourself to FYE or sumthin and buy this right now if you haven't. This is definately in the top 5 albums on my list.......DONT MISS OUT ON THIS

Terrible cd. Blaze 10 bodies is the best song by far. The ICP songs are even bad. Thank God Mike Clark came back.

Don't get me wrong, there are some really BUMPIN' tracks on this disc but some of the songs get old after just a little while. Repetitive beats, soft vocals... ehh... kinda blend into the background. Some of the songs are hard to get into at all.Yet, it is still worth purchasing if you can get it at a discount rate somewhere. Everyone WILL find at least a handful of tracks they really like.

This CD is awesome. It has all thu family on it from ICP, and Esham to Zug Izland and more. Some cool solo's from Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope, plus ABK and Blaze's song , "BITXH SHUT UP" is great, they really throw it down. Also, guest apperances by Jumpsteady, who needs to come out with a new CD! anyway, get this MMFCL!

Psychopathic improves,

I have been a fan of psychopathic records for a long time now. (going on 10 years) I have every single album they released to the main stream. With the exception of some of the rare stuff. But I am going to have to say that in the past year they have improved dramatically. Violent J AKA Joe Bruce is a amazing guy. He is the brains and merchandising force behind there every move. Here is another example of how brilliant he truly is. He has pulled out all the stops on this album. He has every artist on there record label represented here in some of there best songs to date. All of the guests with the exception of Bushwick Bill did a great job here and fit in nicely. Bushwick.... sounds bad. Maybe it is just his style but he sounds weak. I don't like him and I hope that Joe cuts him from any future collaborations. Other than that the entire album is very high quality and shows off the talent they all posess. I do not think that Joe's talents have improved as the other reviewers said, but rather I think he has matured and really come into his own. He sounds like he is no longer high strung and is now relaxed and just lets the flows come to him in good time. He is THE best lyric writer I have ever seen. His most recent projects really show this. Zug Izland, Wizard of the hood, (another 5 star album!) I would have to finish with saying you really should check this album out and I think you will be happy with it. If you are a new fan looking to try out Psychopathic records products than you cannot go wrong. Here you get a little tast of there entire roster. If you like any of the artists than you can see what they sound like before you buy there stuff. I hope this review helps you in making any decision.

I got this as a gift otherwise I would have bought it myself. With all the Psychopathic Records releses you don't know what to expect. This CD is worth a buy. EVery song has it's own bit of freshenss. Eery song is different. The intro isn't as long as the other CD's intros are. Track number 2 is one of the best tracks on the cd in my opinion. Also other good songs are the last one where everyone in Psy. Family is freestyling. Zug Island is on this track and two of their own tracks. The song We Live is the better of the two songs. Also Blaze's new track 10 Bodies is great. Abk's songs could have been beter but Stayin Alive is the better of the two new songs from him. Esham is good on here too. I never was into him but Killing Spree is a good song and I just might be more into him for it. Esham has some good flows in mosto f the songs. I used to love Bushwick Bill back i nthe day but he actually ruined the sogn with ICP. 2 Live Crew makes an appearance and it's fresh surprisingly. So you have an over view. Hoepfully this review will help you decide whether or not you get it. I say: GET IT!!!.

What can I say... fresh beats, original concepts, wicked music... it's all good. Most will like it better than the original PFOS, the sound is definitely more solid. The most noticeable thing about this album though seems to be Violent J's lyrical ability. It may be just me, but it seems like J got 10 times better at rappin' when he started smokin' weed... then again maybe I'm just trippin'. Either way, he goes off, and so does the rest of the hatchet family. This is a masterpiece, and no juggalo or juggalette should go without it. Only one complaint though: Bushwick Bill's verse on "Out There" sounds like he was half asleep, and it's stale as hell. Good job to the hatchet family, MMFCL guys.
