Terrific Reference Book,
By A Customer
This review is from: Psychotropic Drugs: Fast Facts (Norton Professional Books) (Spiral-bound)
This book is a terrific resource for both mental health professionals and consumers. It uses plain language and covers most types, uses, and properties of psychotropic drugs on the market today. It is a must for practicing psychologists, therapists, and counselors. And, perhaps psychiatrists as well.

Practical, compact, and surprisingly comprehensive.,

This review is from: Psychotropic Drugs: Fast Facts, Third Edition (Spiral-bound)
This is a terrific reference book for anyone who uses or prescribes psychoactive drugs. It is both readable and comprehensive enough for the professional. This book is very well organized and all the easy-to-forget details about dosages and side effects are rapidly available.I was surprised to discover that charts comparing the effects of the different tricyclics, most of which are lumped into one or two catagories in much more expensive psychiatric texts! I think psychiatric residents would find this book particularly useful, especially because of its small size. |
