I played the original plus the other one as well and all I can say this is well worth the price.
the game is more customizable and the when u play adventure u can go to different places that give u characters, and objects to unlock. the backgrounds are different going with the place u are at and different environments this is an awesome game . :)

This game is a bit repetitive, but perhaps there's only so much you can do in a game where you bounce around using the accelerometer. Taken for what it is, it is an excellent game, though, and I can see myself wasting quite a bit of time on a bus with this.

Addiction! 2...I'm sorry, I meant Abduction! 2 is one of those games that you don't want to put down. Who knew shaking a phone around like a drunk trying to call his or her ex at 3am could be so cool. The premise is simple an anyone can learn it. But mastering this game, well that takes hard work, dedication, sacrificing time with loved ones, putting aside your job and neglecting your pet. All of this is second to becoming the ultimate cow jumping champion that you are destined to be!

"So what? You just jump this cow onto these platforms and then what? Crap, he fell to his death. OK, I still don't get it. Is there an end to this or do you just keep jumpin...ugh was that a bomb that fell from the sky? Ok one more try."

And there you have it, another initial doubter of this game's power has fallen victim to the addiction. A&E's "Intervention" is not even enough to pull one from this games soul crushing grasp.

This sequel provides you with enough content to actually warrant spending $2 on an app! Don't super size that combo fatty, you're buying this game instead! Adventure Mode, Classic Mode, Kids Mode (hyuk!), and several variations of Quick Mode are enough to keep you occupied until actual Aliens descend to collect us all à la War of the Worlds style. No, not even the couch jumping Tom Cruise can save you now.

What I love best about this game is the ability to customize your character. This game delivers a boatload of accessories to pimp out your cute little cow as she ascends into the heavens on what seems to be a never ending, yet conveniently located platforms and trampolines and rocket ships enough to make Laika jealous (a space race Sputnik II reference? Winning!). But what's that?

I originally had the first ones free trial which I loved. And being able to get the sequel for free is great. Yes it's a lot of repetition, but it gets harder and more rewarding with unlockable content and characters.

The reason I like it more than Doodle Jumper is because of the extras and Doodle seems to not be as polished as this. Who cares if it's a clone, it's an improvement in my opinion, and isn't that how this world runs? People copying and improving other peoples work? We don't have one car company or one phone manufacturer or gaming system now do we?

This game provides a mediocre level of fun, with very little variety and a lot of tiresome activities. The game involves an infinitely bouncing cow bouncing off of platforms all the way up to the top of the screen. I primarily played the main Adventure mode, where you play in one 'country' until you unlock others, and then repeat the process. Each country has maybe 10 almost identical levels, with the platforms just changing position a little bit. Each country you unlock has some slightly new feature that makes things more difficult (such as spikes and fans).

It feels like this game was originally a free game that just got padded with duplicate levels and a useless in-game store, and then got a price tag slapped onto it. Now, even if you get this game for free, the price tag still presents a problem, because when games cost money, they have to fill the game with a bunch of needless crap that requires devotion to complete.

On the other hand, the game does have a Quick mode which just lets you jump right into randomly generated levels. Although it should be noted that even this mode has several sub-modes you can't access without wasting time collecting points in the other modes.

At best, when you cut out all the repetitive and tedious elements from this game, you have yourself an average time-consumer. If that's what you're looking for, this game will be ok; otherwise save yourself the time and space, and don't bother filling up your phone with another unoriginal and unfulfilling game.

A lot of the one star reviews are calling this a copy of doodle jump, which is complete and utter nonsense. Doodle jump was first released on iOS on April 6, 2009 and the original Abduction was released on Android on April 10, 2009. No development cycle takes 3 days, so the copy claims are outrageous.

Secondly, don't blame Amazon because you downloaded too quickly. I'm sure their customer service department can issue refunds if you explain the situation. They are very helpful.

Finally, the Abduction series of games are all great. They are addicting and a great way to pass time in meetings or on the go. I would highly recommend that everyone try this game, you won't regret it!
