The square format and large print of this entry in the True Book--Dinosaurs series make this look like an easy reader. It is definitely not that, as it is jam-packed with information. Written in Landau's engaging signature style, the book covers many topics. There's an introduction about pterosaurs--flying reptiles--followed by profiles of two examples. There are also many facts about fossils, paleontologists, and the extinction of the dinosaurs. Artistic renderings, photographs, and a few maps make for colorful illustrations.
