My very most favorite audio CD's are the Bartimaeus Trilogy, Harry Potter Series, and Twilight Series in not any particular order because it's too hard to decide.
I found the entire Bartimaeus Trilogy about a quick witted, sarcastic Demon delightful. Jonathan Stroud has a good handle on delivering dry wit and it was made all the more enjoyable with the rich, mellow, baritone voice of Simon Jones who is, of course, one of my very most favorite narrators. I've listened to this trilogy many times and never tire of hearing his wonderful voice. I'm now anxiously awaiting the new Bartimaeus Novel: The Ring of Solomon coming out soon. You might think you don't like demon stories, but I'll bet you will love this one! |
