3.0 out of 5 stars Lofty and poetic, not for everyone, June 5, 1999

This review is from: Pubis Angelical (Paperback)
I loved Heartbreak Tango and have always felt the Manual Puig had a sharp intuition about women. This book seems to be more philosopical than Heartbreak Tango. It is not an easy read, though the prose is beautiful, it may take some study to get into this book. It makes me feel that Manuel Puig, in his older years, is reasessing his life and looking at the possibilities of what heaven might be for him.
