Editorial Reviews

Review

Praise for the previous edition. . . . . .employs articles from a number of different disciplines to cover subjects much beyond the realm of the narrow technical details of budgeting and finance. . . . . .One of the positive aspects of this book is. . .useful, article-length introductory comments for each section. These introductions are far superior to the perfunctory one or two page efforts found in most edited books. . . . . .has much to recommend it as an introductory text or as a quick reference.
---Canadian Public Administration
. . .A good companion volume for teaching budgetary courses.
---International Review of Administrative Sciences

This review is from: Public Budgeting and Finance (Public Administration and Public Policy) (Hardcover)
This book is not worth the listed price. School bookstores will have it cheaper, but still the material is outdated and not well written. It the reader's intent is purely academic it is a good sourse of information and numbers, but will not enlighten them on the subject.
