5.0 out of 5 stars Great Service!
The book came very quickly, unfortunately it was the incorrect book for the course. The professor had been unclear about the text, and I then had to return it. They were very quick to respond to my questions and gave me a full refund. Thanks!

3.0 out of 5 stars Where are the men?
This book was used as a textbook for a sociology of family class.

One interesting observation is that there is an odd absence of studies and articles concerning men. I am not sure if this is because of the body of research out there or because this particular author chose to disregard those studies. Overall, nice balance of pro- and anti-traditional family...

2.0 out of 5 stars Public and Private Families, July 18, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The service from Amazon was fairly good, however the book arrived after classes started for my college, which put me behind and I was really disappointed when I got to Chapter 10 and the entire chapter was missing. It was really difficult to study on-line but thank goodness for the temporary link to Coursesmart which allowed me to read and print it on-line. I am going to try to get at least a partial refund after the class is over.
