5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for beginners, good refresher fo the experienced, October 17, 2007

This review is from: Public Relations Made Easy (Paperback)
I never took marketing or PR courses in college and now that I have my own business I see what a mistake I made! Public Relations Made Easy has been tremendously helpful in develop my marketing plan and in planning and creating press-releases etc. Not only is it perfect for beginners like me, I imagine that the conscise nature of the book and the easily referenced "Top 10 List" approach taken with each topic would make it a useful refresher for those with expericence in the field as well.

3.0 out of 5 stars a bit simplistic, September 4, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Public Relations Made Easy (Paperback)
I have read most of this book, no real news, just basic simplistic stuff as far as I can tell. Most of the information is pretty self-evident unless you have absolutely no knowledge of PR or marketing at all. I have worked in marketing and sales most of my life and found that, although I had done no real "PR," this book (and probably all the others out there) aren't really telling you anything common sense wouldn't dictate. No "aha!" moments for me.
