This book is an excellent step-by-step guide to FrameMaker 8. It begins by assuming that you know almost nothing about FrameMaker 8 and, in easily digestible chunks, takes you from the basics to using all the features of the unstructured version of FrameMaker 8.

I got this book while I was using FrameMaker 7.2. I'm now using FM 10 and, whenever I've run stuck, this has been my primary reference source. Occasionally, I leave the book at home when I need it at work or vice-versa. Scriptorium offers the combination of book with PDF, and I wish I had added the PDF so that I would never need to work in FM without it.
