A while back I bought your book and let it sit on the bookshelf for some time before reading it. Once I picked it up and read it, I began writing on a subject I had been thinking about for quite some time. My how-to book is almost finished now. Your book was really helpful in writing it and I will use the marketing technique you lay out. I am getting more excited each day as the book gets closer to printing and marketing. I pick up new things every time I read it. I am going to go to some of the recommended sites and sign up for the newsletters. I am sure I will learn some more good info. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR BOOK.

As many other readers, I have read the whole book in one shot. That's because it was written in a away that takes your attention from the beginning till the end. It gives you sufficient information to start writing and publishing your work.

Not long, but addresses the concept of producing your own booklets/books well. Inspirational in that it keeps it simple enough so that you feel like, "I can do this!" Covers all the bases yet keeps it simple, short, and sweet. A really good resource.

This book isn't worth anywhere near it's selling price. The info isn't as specific to publishing booklets as it's cover indicates, and I bought it because I thought that it would provide detailed information on making booklets and it doesn't. And it leads you to other resources for marketing that for [...], you should get in this book. It's filled with more hype about how you can run your own publishing business from home than how to actually set up and execute such an operation. When it comes to that, you get referred to other sources, yet they claim they're doing so well with their own business. It's the same ol crock full o nuts, people compiling info from the library, throwing in hype and selling it.

So in the near future I will publish such a how to book myself. My book will illustrate exactly how to make a booklet, the measurements and saddle stapling and folding it, how to make becoming covers for it, the cheap software to do it with, the cost of setting up, record keeping, and of course, how to publish and market it. Nothing at all will be left out, no points to other sources, and it's not gonna cost anywhere near [...]. There's not gonna be a shred of hype in it, just information to be utilized at once. I can't stand books laden with hype.

I plan to start a niche for publishing booklets exclusively and I will explain in illustrated detail exactly how I made all my moves step by step. But this book isn't the tool helping me to get there. It's a dust collector.
