Domingo and Bruson in excellent voice!, June 26, 2008

I found this recording to be very good overall. Although I don't find Renata Scotto to be a fantastic Tosca, she does fine. BUT, Placido Domingo sounds absolutely amazing and in his prime! wow! His voice blew me away. I thought Renato Bruson was a spectacular Scarpia and deliciously evil. The conducting is rich and captures all the passion and drama. There is no libretto included.
