This book presents in both spanish and english an excellent review of Puertorican art. From the great José Campeche to a contemporary Osiris Delgado, it gives everyone a description of the greatest painters and artists from Puerto Rico.

This book is the classic, or Bible for Puerto Rican art collectors. From José Campeche in the late 18th century to the present time, it is The University of Puerto Rico's compilation of "Who's Who" in the Puerto Rican arts and crafts. The equivalent of any of the many " Who's who in art."

It is a must for all collectors of Puerto Rican art.

The books isn't half bad except for the fact that it is missing A LOT of information on the island's contemporary art. But, of course, for art history before modernism, it is an excellent resource.
