About the Author
Tony T, an outdoor enthusiast, graduated in 1968 from Michigan State University with a degree in Restaurant Management. He was a Food Service Consultant for a number of years working with the hospital/institutional trade. In 1980 he moved to NE Washington State. Concerned about the unhealthy ingredients and poor taste of the newly emerging energy bars at this time, he developed an easy way to bind a healthy granola recipe into an energy bar.

Good nutrition made easy,

I tried out a couple of recipes. In one of them I substituted other ingredients. The "breads" turned out great. Slices of this bread are more like energy bars. The basic recipe is fool proof. One can pick and choose variations of the basic ingredients and then get real creative with the extra added ingredients. Of course, one can also pick one the 20 interesting recipes in this book.

The best bread I've ever tasted.The flavor is exceptioal, not to mention the health benefits received from these super recipies. Master T. has made the nutrition industry stand on its ear with this recipe book. The effects of these recipies are experienced immediatly and their a blast to prepare. These recipes are really great. My husband took some of these bars to work and they really went over well with the donut-eater guys - they are asking for more! I eat one of the slices for breakfast and it holds me until lunch. The recipes use whole grains and pretty much any fruit and nut combination that one could imagine. Wonderful book!
