5.0 out of 5 stars A must for all Pug lovers!
This is the most adorable pug book I have seen so far, and I own them all! The dogs are adorable and the captions are terrific. This is a GIFT book, not a narrative book, so buy it for everyone you know who loves dogs as much as you do.

2.0 out of 5 stars Picture Book or Pug Story?
I own "Cinematherapy" and "Culinarytherapy," also by Beverly West, and these are great (especially for gifts to girlfriends). I have a pug and was excited to see that Ms. West shared my love for pugs and had written a book about pugs. However, I was very disappointed that the book was predominately a picture book. And, while I do enjoy looking at cute pictures of pugs,...

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely adorable., October 22, 2006
This review is from: PugTherapy: Finding Happiness, One Pug at a Time (Hardcover)
Okay, I have to admit first off, that I am a cat person. However, when I browsed through this book in the new release section, I found myself saying "awwww" out loud only a few pages into it. These writers came up with a wonderfully creative idea for a book and the pictures are beautiful. Pugs must have amazing personalities. If I ever decide to get a dog, I've just made my decision as to which breed. I highly recommend this book, not just for pug lovers, but for animal lovers in general. It is guaranteed to make you smile, and as the title suggests, isn't it the goal of any kind of "therapy" to make you feel better? Well done!

5.0 out of 5 stars Pugtherapy, for puglovers or any fun loving peeps, December 4, 2006

This review is from: PugTherapy: Finding Happiness, One Pug at a Time (Hardcover)
This book is a great small format coffee table book for pug lovers, and people not familiar to this breed alike! it is filled with sweet bits of advice on life, living, and just being pug. you can't help but smile when you see the beautiful black and white photos of these cute and quirky creatures. one pug even sports a cowboy hat and stands behind a police barricade! (no pugs were harmed in the shoot, i'm sure). but there are quite some daring shots of these fabulous doggies that no one should miss. it makes a great gift for puglovers, and anyone who loves dogs. enjoy this one and share it with friends. it's sure to bring laughs and smiles to anyone who reads it.

And, while I do enjoy looking at cute pictures of pugs, I was hoping there was a story to go along. So, if you are looking for a book of cute pug pictures, go for "PugTherapy". I still prefer "Clara: The Early Years" by Margo Kaufman if you are looking for a pug-story.

This book is absolutely adorable and great to have around to pick you up when you are feeling down. Who can resist a smile after looking at those cute pugs? And it's a great gift to give to someone in the dumps to cheer them up.

This book was a great gift, and it's a great coffee table book. There are lots of cute pictures, although there was less color than I expected. The pictures are creative and well-set up, and the captions are cute.
