The DVD really takes a pug lover on an adventure with short segememts of pugs in show, pugs as pets, pugs as helpmates, pugs as therapy dogs, and so on.
I loved watching each segment and it is so entertaining even for young children. My daughter who is almost 8 cannot stop watching this DVD over and over...she loves it!

I just got this on Netflix and it was precious. It was about 50 minutes long and it showed pugs in dog shows, movies, etc... Have some tissue ready for the precious ones that are therapy dogs. The nice thing I thought was that it didn't show those pyscho dog owners who think their dogs created the heavens and the earth. I highly recommend this documentary if you love dogs - especially pugs!

Wonderful World Of Pugs!,

This is a wonderful DVD dog-umentary about pugs and the people who love them. From their silly antics to laugh out loud costumes to a hair raising rescue of a stolen pug, this DVD has it all. There are even interviews with people owned by pugs, pug agility, famous pugs, and a touching look at the pug rescue societies and therapy dog world. A must buy and you will not regret it!

I love pugs, so it's hard for me to dislike anything about this video. But here are some positive and negative aspects about the DVD.
Positive: The people interviewed are really funny! It's just nice to see pugs in action. They're so cute! The documentary touched on a myriad of topics such as dogs in shows, their owners, Halloween costumes, therapy dogs( I wished they had done more on this topic). Negative: It seemed to lack a flow that made any sense. Topics jumped from one thing to another. It was disjointed and very strangely edited. It looked like a home video and not really worth the money. The whole segment on this guy who owns a dog spa had NOTHING to do with pugs There was no history of the breed, no general information. It was just snippets of stories of people who love their dogs. It lacked any real information on pugs like behavior traits, health issues, etc. All the relevant information on pugs, I learned ELSEWHERE. If you want to learn more about pugs, I wouldn't buy this video. I would do a search on Youtube and watch the Animal Planet video to gain a better understanding of the breed. Thanks for reading. This is just my opinion. :)

This video was less about pugs and more about some quirky people that own the dogs and show them. I wanted to see the lovable, mischievous, and endearing qualities of this exceptional breed since I am a pug owner myself. This film was so lacking in any "cute pugs" or adorable antics, that I watched it once and threw it in the garbage. This video was a "show" of breeders at pug shows - absolutely terrible.
