This review is from: Pulaar-English/English-Pulaar Standard Dictionary (Hippocrene Standard Dictionary) (Paperback)
Since it's probably the only pulaar-english dictionary in the world, it's also probably the best. But it's really pretty bare-bones and needs a lot of filling in.

This review is from: Pulaar-English/English-Pulaar Standard Dictionary (Hippocrene Standard Dictionary) (Paperback)
Considering the number of dialects in question and the lack of written data in same dialects, this is a great achievement and is far superior to most African/English dictionaries.
I can't find fault.

Mamadou Niang Pular dictionary,
This review is from: Pulaar-English/English-Pulaar Standard Dictionary (Hippocrene Standard Dictionary) (Paperback)
This book is one of the best Pulaar dictionaries. It describes rather precisely the fuuta-jalon dialect of the Pulaar language. It was made by a person, who speaks Pulaar as a mothertongue. Although it has several typos, there are no major mistakes and the description is rather linguistically accurate and the dialectual purity adds much to the value of the dictionary. I gave the book 4 stars because it can only be used by a very narrow professional circle.
