This is my favourite Branduardi's cd. The music transports you back in time. Even thou the songs are new, the old stylish music and instruments combined with the fun lyrics makes you want to sing them all day long. La Pulce D'Acqua (the water flee) is a must in all Italian Music lovers collection.

As an American living abroad I have only recently been introduced to the music of Angelo Branduardi. It was an experience that makes learning a foreign language not only worthwhile in itself but a pleasure. The music while modern is heavily influenced by the use of older instrument, instruments which date from the middle ages. Branduardi has done much more than this but as a starting point for exploring his music I would recommend this disc to everyone!

I bought this record on vinyl when it came out (a looong time ago), and it's still my all time favourite.

Please do yourself a favour and buy it, it's really that good.
