Great for the price,
This review is from: Pull Up Chin Up Push Up Sit Up Multi Function Bar (Misc.)
This is just like all the other pull up bars which don't require any tools to fasten. It gets the job done and is designed just like the more expensive versions. It doesn't have any add on features but you really don't need it. You can get wide on this bar all I added to it was some foam to the end of the bars for my hands. Bicycle foam handles work just fine. My only gripe was the directions for assembly where non existent. Just make sure your door is not too wide and that you don't have too much fancy border around the frame. This would prevent it from fitting perfectly and securely. But other then that I get a good work out from it. Ohh and no super saver shipping because its not direct from amazon.

Well, the good news is this pull-up/chin-up bar works. I use it regularly. I like it and I'm glad I own it. I only hope that the manufacturer used good quality screws, as they have to support 180 lbs. ;)
The bad news is... the directions are abysmal. A simple sheet of paper with some rather vague exploded image of how all the parts are supposed to go together. They did include a "wrench" tool to help, but you will need at least another wrench or pliers to assemble this pull-up bar. What should have been a 5-minute assembly took almost a 1/2 hour. Second, the manufacturer gives you only two setting to choose from when mounting this in a door frame. Unfortunately, in my very old home, the door frames were not a fit for either one of the two sizes the manufacturer allowed, so I had to drill my own set of mounting holes to fit my door way. Also, the large plastic anchor pieces on either end of the bar (that make contact with your wall and help hold the bar in place) were not a tight fit at all. I had to use the "universal fix-all" (duct tape) to have them stay securely on the bar. All in all, the bar does work fine, I like it's functionality, the grips are comfortable. But I have to deduct points for the ambiguous directions, the lack of more sizing options for varying sized door frames, and the cheap plastic pieces which help secure the bar to your wall.

If you want to do pull ups this thing works. Just make sure that you a door with a frame so that the hooks on top can latch on. I do pull-ups hanging out of my front door for all my neighbors to see because that is the only door in my apartment that has a frame.
