I bought this hoping to turn the tide on my war against crabgrass. However, it is still hard to find the "root" of crabgrass since it can spread out so far. It's not really the tool's fault that tackling crabgrass is such a difficult job, it just doesn't make it any easier. It works fine if you have some broad-leaf weeds that are easy to isolate. But you'll need to find some other strategy to tackle larger weed infestations.

It was easy to get used to just placing the weed puller over the weed and twisting, not pushing down on the handle. The tricky part was the direction to keep the plant in the puller. Tapping the weed out was also simple. My husband loved not having to bend under the trees to get the sucker shoots.
