Make a powerful statement with the Pulsar PF3233 stainless steel men's chronograph watch--it'll feel at home in both the boardroom or on a wakeboard. It has three chronograph subdials (with red hands), including 1/5th second stopwatch with split time measurement and a 12-hour alarm (which can be used to indicate time in a second time zone). It has a deep blue dial background with large, luminous baton hands and dial markers, a red second hand, and a date function at 3 o'clock. The large round silver stainless steel watch case measures 1.6 inches in diameter and features an etched stainless steel unidirectional rotating bezel with an interior tachymeter. The triple-link bracelet band is composed of both brushed and polished silver stainless steel pieces and is joined by a double-locking fold-over clasp. Other features include water resistance to 100 meters (330 feet), a scratch-resistant mineral crystal, and precise Japanese quartz movement.

Warranty
Pulsar's three-year warranty (from date of purchase) covers all of the watch--inside and out. All moving parts, the case, crystal, bracelet, and battery are covered.

I've had the watch for a year now, and I like it very much. It looks great and has a nice heft to it. I definitely like having an alarm feature (and I can't figure out why so few watches have one).

In the spirit of disclosure, I thought I'd note a couple of points in which new buyers might be interested.

- I agree that the blue on the face of the watch is a touch darker than that in the picture, unless you're holding the watch directly up to a light.

- The the thin red watchhand in the center that looks like the second hand is actually part of the stopwatch. Normally, then, it remains completely still. The second hand is actually in the small dial in the 9:00 position.

- Finally, after a year of heavy use, the safetly clasp that holds the master clasp (is that a term?) closed no longer stays in position. Thus, when clapping my hands, the watch can easily come unclasped. I know there's a warranty, but it's a pain to figure out how to get it fixed for free.

Overall, I don't regret the purchase, and I'll certainly keep this watch even if I move onto daily-use watch.

Band of watch is attractive and has what appears to be good safety clasp, athough I note another buyer has had trouble with the clasp.

The date function apparently does not work propertly. After 2 months of re-reading instructions and "fiddling" it continues to turn at 12 hour intervals instead of 24.

The second hand timer for the timer is good. The minute counter is so hard to read as to make this feature useless.

All in all, a disapointment.
