Quick selector wand is nice.

Used it to clean 2 decks ,3 car washes, driveway and walkway, house siding, and 2 trash cans, and it is working as well as day one.

I returned it because i felt it wouldn't last long, plus the fact that one of the settings on the wand didn't work.

Right out of the box, i thought "this things looks cheap." A lot of plastic, including the tube into which the hose connects. It didn't leak though. I attached the wheels, but they hardly spin. The wheels seem to be more for looks than utility. I noticed 2 cracks in the plastic at the base of the machine. It must have come that way because i certainly didn't drop this machine. Again--cheaply made. Also, one of the settings on the wand called "jet" didn't work. The pressure on that setting was equal to the pressure straight from the garden hose. The other 3 settings however did have quite a bit of pressure. I feel that the 1.6 GPM is accurate. I previously had a 1.2 GPM machine and i ran a simple test. The Pulsar filled up a bucket 30% more than my previous machine.
My previous machine was rated 1700 PSI and there wasn't a huge difference between that and this 2000 PSI. I'm not saying that this machine isn't 2000 PSI, but rather that you're not going to get a whole lot more cleaning power than 1700 PSI. I only used it on concrete.
I think what you're paying for are the specs: 2000 PSI and 1.6 GPM, but not for the quality. I returned it because i felt it wouldn't last long, plus the fact that one of the settings on the wand didn't work. If you do buy this, go to another popular website that frequently has e-coupons for 10-15% off.
In comparison, my previous pressure washer was one sold by home depot, the Ryobi with 1700 PSI and 1.2 GPM. Very well made and about the same price as this unit. The trade-off is the lower specs. But i think it'd last longer than this Pulsar.

No leaks from any of the connections. Connections for the hose to the unit are metal. Good power for an electric pressure washer. Quick selector wand is nice. Pulsar company should have gave a few of these away so they could have reviews put online. I usually don't buy a product unless there are reviews but I took a chance on this one. I have used it twice for a combined time of 8hrs and very happy with the unit. For the money you can't beat it. TigerDirect has the best price on this unit.

I purchased this unit because of the power and the hose reel. I got so much more for my money than I thought I would. First is the water. The specs said 1.6 gallons per minute and I believe it. I was able to do the same job I did last year in just a little more than half the time. Second is the really neat wand that has a four-position dispersion pattern instead of the old flange method. The fourth position is marked turbo which takes the water and oscillates it so that it works faster. Finally there is a caddy on the back that has a place for the power cord and the wand and so, all of it is stored away without the normal mess of having cords and hoses laying around. Add to this, the unit seemed a lot quieter than my old one and also shuts off when warter isn't flowing through it to help save the life of the motor and the pump. I am one happy customer with this guy!

Used it to clean 2 decks ,3 car washes, driveway and walkway, house siding, and 2 trash cans, and it is working as well as day one. This machine is much better that what I expected. If you are thinking of renting a washer for light to med. work you might find this a much less expensive way ...plus no deposit or return...

My Pulsar arrived yesterday. looks like a great machine. Started and work for one minute. Then went dead. I called the hot line, very very nice guy..but the machine was not going to work.. I had to take it apart, repack and send back. Amazon was very helpful too. I went today to get one at Home Depot. Easier to return if it's a lemon too.

I thought it was Good enough for the weekend warrior. I am not using it for commercial purposes so it was perfect for my small deck area, Concrete cleaning, and cedar siding. I have used it about three times. If you are a commercial user, I would go with another unit that does not use as much plastic as this one does.

The washer works fine, just not a very user friendly unit. Seeing other reviews about the fragility of the hose attachment, I put in a short hose that is secured to the handle, so the attachment fitting is isolated from any pulling loads. The low pressure option on the wand is pretty much useless. When I put down cleaners I want it sprayed over the area, not concentrated in a stream. The wheels are pretty much worthless also, and if you are taller, you'll have to just pick up the unit to move it, as the handle is way too low. That said, the sprayer itself works very nicely. Would be nice to have a bleeder for the reservoir so you could get the air out. It takes quite a while to purge the pump. Make sure there is no air in your garden hose before attaching, as this will only increase the time it takes to start using the machine. I put a rock in the hand grip to lock the unit on then come back 5 minutes later to start using it. I've had a peculiar incident when using the machine: I left it on for 5+ minutes (with water pressure) while I was putting out cleaner and scrubbing, and when I went to use it, the pump cavitated (the pump started running very fast), and I had to stop and rebleed the system of air. This has happened on several occasions. May put in my own bleed system if it looks possible.
