5.0 out of 5 stars "She's so electric", June 13, 2006
This review is from: Pulsatron (Audio CD)
Siobhan is a super talented artist. She has great writing capabilities. The majority of her songs are a little dark and moody with a beat. This one is about a girl and her vibrator. "Got to get it on like a Pulsatron." So much fun! It always gets the crowd going on the dancefloors. This is just a taste of what's to come. Her long awaited full length solo album is going to be Amazing!

5.0 out of 5 stars SHUV ROCKS THE DISCO!!!, October 18, 2007

Siobhan has returned to dance music. For the uninitiated, Siobhan Fahey was for years 'the cool one' in Bananarama, until she finally got sick of never playing live and seeing the group she had formed on a lark with art-school pals Keren Woodward and Sarah Dallin being somewhat consumed by a mega-controlling production team, namely Stock-Aitken-Waterman. And so she quit, then formed ANOTHER hugely successful musical partnership (Shakespears Sister) - only to again see her artistic control fade away to a greedy record label and an equally-greedy musical partner (Wanna-Be Diva, thy name is Marcella). So, FINALLY!, she's ON HER OWN.. .doing solo stuff, DJ-ing and recording with no one to please but herself. And in doing so, she's pleased many indeed.

She met the Electro Clash wave head-on with her UK hit, Bitter Pill, and this subsequent offering (about a favorite vibrator a friend had recommended to her one day) continues her reign as Queen of the Disco (admittedly, the UK Disco - though she's making many new/old fans stateside, as well). This collection offers some killer mixes of PULSATRON, a Major UK Club Hit. And don't be put-off by the 'dance music' categorization... Siobhan is still one of the most un-peggable, interesting and consistently EXCELLENT artists in music today.

While former bandmates Keren & Sarah may have gone off their rockers and deep into the halls of soundalike, seemingly endless Eurodisco Hi-NRG, Siobhan Does Disco with a twist - QUALITY. Should you doubt, listen to the lyrics, feel the rhythms, Experience Quality! And naturally, there's more than a bit of the dark, paranoid world she brought to Shakespears Sister, as well.
