Great fusion album,

I own the LP and recently 'digitized' it. Wow, Jeff Berlin's note-for-note solo on Crossroads. This dics has everything; great players, great tunes, nice variety, and even a dedication to Dirk, Lerxt, and Pratt! :g

This is one of Berlin's finest CD to really show his true craftmanship!The first one if you can find it is called The Champion is the utmost best.If you want to hear other great Berlin masterpieces.listen to Bill Bruford(Yes drummer) band called Bruford. Berlin kicks on all of these CD's,One of a kind< Gradually Going Tornado,here Berlin is the master! Some people have made fun of this man ,being or try to be a "jaco clone" No Way! He stands out in his own right. My hat is off to you sir.Keep playing like you do. I am sorry to say that Berlin's early stuff "kicks" the most. And if you ever find the DVD of the band i mentioned Bruford,buy it! I even thin Amazon has it. (they have everything!) |
