Okay, but nothing special...,

This review is from: The Pumpkin Cookbook (Hardcover)
I am a fan of all things pumpkin. I love pumpkin cake, pumpkin pie, pumpkin lattes you name it, if has pumpkin in it, I like it. I purchased this book hoping for some great pumpkin recipes, and I admit I was rather disappointed. For one thing it is rather small: it has 58 pages and is quite narrow. Also, many of the recipes seem to call for whole fresh pumpkin which you cannot get out of season at least where I live. The recipes which call for pumpkin puree are only obvious recipes: pumpkin bread and pie.Good, but nothing particularly special. Some nice pictures. Okay if you've never read anything about pumpkin and have access to fresh pumpkin.
