As I read this to my 3-year-old, I thought about how great it would be for a homeschooler. Not only is the art superb, but it includes so much about the history of the pumpkin, how they grow, the fact that they are berries, etc... And it does so without feeling textbookish. Heck, I learned a lot. LOL!

Found this book while looking for a book about Autumn. It is so cute. The art is adorable and the story is too. The bunny family celebrates "Pumpkin Day" doing all sorts of pumpkin things. There are facts, recipes and jokes about pumpkins perfectly woven into the story. Can't wait to get a few more of this authors titles.
