4.0 out of 5 stars A delightful story for everyone, November 1, 2005

This review is from: The Pumpkinville Mystery (Paperback)
This is a perfect story to read at Halloween. It has a touch of the sinister and spooky and a sense of humor as well. It makes one think of American Tall Tales and national character.
My Mother acquired this book when I was a child and enjoyed reading it allowed to my siblings and I. The story is best experienced this way because of the small details a child can look for and the classic fun of story-telling.
