Just the thing for another round in the ring! The contender kit is an essential add-on for fans of the Punch-Out!! game. Kit does not include Punch-Out!! the game. Game sold separately. The King Hippo boxer shorts are 60% cotton/40% polyester jersey blend material. It has an elastic comfort fit waistband. Size Large and regulation Heavyweight wear. The King Hippo crown replica is 4” high x 5” wide and made of Zinc alloy with silver plating. It has 5 custom inlaid jewels with a molded Punch-Out!! logo on the inside. A little bling from the ring! The Doc Louis Remedy Bar is 1.5 ounces of pure Belgian milk chocolate and is certified Kosher dairy. The King Hippo inflatable desktop punching bag is 15” tall with weighted bottom. A desktop knock-out!

This is a fun accessory kit if you have a Punch-Out party. But $19.99 seems like a more fair price than $29.99.
Please note the following :
- There is NO game included here.
- Instead of eating the (1) chocolate bar included in this kit, you may want to check out a local Nintendo World store. They were given out during the launch of the Punch-Out game.
- It's a tad disappointing that there aren't bandages or medical tape included. If the kit is going for the King Hippo theme (crown, boxers, punching bag) then why not include the bandages so you can make the iconic X on your very own King Hippo belly button?
- You might not want to wear the boxer shorts. Here's the warning label that can be found attached to it. "Warning : The yellow ink printed on the boxers contains traces of a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer."
This kit would have made a great limited edition had it been packaged that way with the new Punch-Out game. As an accessory kit without a game, it seems like few people would go out of their way to pick this up.

As printed on the tag of the boxers included in this kit "Warning the yellow ink printed on these boxers contain traces of a chemical Known to the state of California to cause cancer" They should have used an ink that does not cause cancer.

I'm a huge punch out fan as well as a collector but I couldn't justify paying 30 bucks for this when it came out. But for $[...], I couldn't pass it up. I was very pleased with everything included except for the boxer shorts which are very cool and seemingly well made but unfortunately give you cancer according to the tag attached. Bummer. The crown is surprisingly heavy duty and the craftsmenship is of high quality. The blow up punching bag is cool to. Now if the $[...] little mac boxing glove will just decrease in price.

When I first saw this set on Amazon I thought to myself who would actually purchase this. Then it dropped in price.
Overall there was a lot more to the set than I first thought. Everything inside was pretty cool and the crown in actually good quality. It was a great companion gift paired with the Little Mac boxing glove that I had ordered for Christmas.

Come on people. You guys all complain about the warning in the boxers? If you look at most warnings on anything it says "contains traces of a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer." come on, give me a break. Wash them before wearing then it will be fine. If you are that worried about it then I wouldnt go outside either, you will get cancer from the sun as well.

FUN. This kit includes the boxer shorts, candy bar, small punching bag, and King Hippo Crown - all in a cool box designed with the Punch-Out!! picture on the front. I agree the boxer shorts do have a warning on them as the other reviews mention, but I was not planning on wearing them anyway - to me these are collector items. I am a diehard old school Punch-Out!! fan and buying a box full of related items was like getting a box of goodies on Christmas morning from my childhood.
Each item in the kit has a better than expected quality to it. The only item I didn't try out was the chocolate bar, but then again if you do like it... I don't really think there's a place to buy more of them, except from these kits. I really hope that Amazon or somebody puts out more kits like this.

I MADE THE MISTAKE OF THINKING THIS WAS THE GAME. IT IS NOT!! IT IS A STUPID CANDY BAR, A CROWN, AND A PAIR OF BOXER SHORTS. I ATE THE CANDY BAR THEN THREW THE REST AWAY.
