About the Author
Celeste Alleyne Turner was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. She received her bachelor of arts degree from Brown University, and currently works as a corporate community relations director. Celeste lives in Los Angeles with her husband. She was a member of the board of directors for women in Communications, San Francisco chapter, for many years, and is currently on the board of directors for Lula washinton dance Theater Company and the Magic Johnson education Fund in Los Angeles. In 1997 Turner won the PRISM award from Minorities in Business Magazine for her outstanding work in the Los Angeles ethnic community. She is presently working on her second book, a work of fiction, tentatively titled, "Tribal Heaven".
