An undiscoverd classic of trash fiction, September 25, 2003
Oh yes, this book is trash. It's vile, and at times silly. But if you like this kind of thing, it's pure gold. With an insightful screenwriter and director, it could be a great movie. However, it's more likely to go straight to video if it would ever be made at all. But the book... well, if trash is your guilty pleasure then you have hit the jackpot.

One of the Worst Books I Have Ever Read, December 29, 2000
By A Customer
This is without a doubt one of the worst books I have ever read. It opens with the savage murder of a young woman. She was promiscuous and made lots of enemies. Her mother has a nervous breakdown and father a nyphet complex, turning his interests on the woman's younger sister, Penny.
Penny drops out of college, has a series of sexual affairs and tries to be like her late sister, Suzy. She secures a job and her boss encourages her to act out her sexual fantasies with him on a get away weekend. There is no loss of graphic descriptions in this stupid story.
Penny's psychiatrist is a weirdo with an obsession for cats. The demented lady lives in her building and has turned her apartment into a cat hotel. Every time the Board of Health is called in to investigate the condition of her place, she calls any of her patients to stash the kitties until the heat is off. Why Penny drops everything and leaves work to bail out this crazy lady is anyone's guess. She finally leaves therapy when one of the doctor's cats attacks her. She kills the animal because he won't turn loose of her arm. All her doctor ever did was place cats with people under the pretext of treatment. When Penny confesses that she killed the cat in self defense, the doctor goes even more beserk.
Suzy's diary yields many an Electra fantasy of father-daughter intimacies. Penny tries to become Suzy and in the end, nabs dear old dad. As for the hapless mother, she was the one who killed Suzy.
This book is not worth anybody's time. Please don't waste yours by reading this worthless junk.

That stinks, March 28, 2010
The book (story) was fine, but the BOOK stunk to high heaven. In the review it would have been important information if the seller would have disclosed that he/she smoked DIRECTLY into the pages of the book. It reaked.
