entertaining read, confusing publishing.,

At the time of this review (10/04), though the first two volumes have the same cover no matter hardcover (called "unbound" sometimes on amazon) or paperback, that trend ends. I only have the hardcovers, but generally this is the idea:
This 3rd HARDCOVER collection has the same cover as the 4th PAPERBACK collection - frank with a gun pointed up. The paperback Vol. 3 has wolverine on it. All collections are from the 37 issue marvel knights series that came after the maxi-series called "welcome back, frank". Hardcover Vol. 2 = #1-7, and #13-18. Hardcover Vol. 3 = #19-27. Hardcover Vol. 4 = ? Paperback Vol. 2 = #1-7. Paperback Vol. 3 = #13-18. Paperback Vol. 4 = #20-26 or 27. (depending on source) Paperback Vol. 5 = #19, 27-32. Great writing on this one. The story gets more bizarre than before, but still easy to follow and typical dillon artwork.

I have all three and by the time I finished vol 3 I was looking for more. The Punisher is wild you eventually learn as you read on that his cause is just but somewhere along the way he's become a little mad so you begin to question his motives after killing so many. but then again you find yourself cheering him on just because he's taking out the trash. I love this guy more than any other marvel character just a blast read and non stop violence. I tell you this is a must have for any Punisher fan.
