4.0 out of 5 stars Punk-o-rama 4
This cd is a great punk cd. Its not as good as the 3 before it but NOFX,Millencolin, and Pennywise are really good on it. I especially love ten foot pole. If you're looking for a great mix of punk, BUY THIS CD! Epitaph did a pretty good job.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not The Best (2 By Far) But A Good Punk O Rama CD, September 21, 2000
By
This review is from: Punk-O-Rama 4 (Audio CD)
This CD is one I like to put on when I head to my backyard or out around town on my skateboard, probably because of its awesome mix of punk, ska, and Tom Waits. Well, not so awesome if you want to count old Tom (laugh, its funny...shut up) but it is still rad. It all fits together pretty well, and is in my player a lot at the moment. It also introduced me to two bands that I never really checked out before, those being New Bomb Turks and Gentleman Jack Grisham, both being good. It is a fast paced CD, and I like the attitude.

The best songs have to be Mr. Clean by Millencolin, Generator by Bad Religion, Second Best by Pulley, The Getaway by Ten Foot Pole, and 1998 by Rancid. You should also get Punk O Rama 2 and any of the Fat Wreck Chords compilations.

This album has some really good punk songs on it. All of them are awesome save for tracks 17-20 which are either poppy or they sound like they're goth or metal. But if u want a Punk compilation that has all awesome punk tracks buy vol. 5.

This is a great cd to listen to while driving, working, partying, whatever. It is a good collection of songs from a bunch of good punk bands. (not blink 182, sum 41 etc.) It is more than likely that after listening to this a few times, you will be singing along and air-guitaring with many of the songs.

Not the best in the series, but has some great artists. This is one I can listen to over and over and over and not get tired of it. A must have for your "Rama" collection.

Can Millencolin play a bad song? I think not! For the price of this GREAATTTTT CD, why not buy 2 and introduce your friends to punk at its best?

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Nice, June 28, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Punk-O-Rama 4 (Audio CD)
This CD is very nice. A really cool added touch is the enhanced CD part, you put the CD in your computer, click on a band name, and it'll play that band and you get a band history and pics. The music is awesome too. Better than Punk-O-Rama 3. Different from most punk compilations in that all of the songs are enjoyable, not just some. And it's dirt cheap.

This and Volume 5 are the best Punk-o-rama Albums. But honestly, why do I have to tell you that?....

Pennywise, Bad Religion, Nofx, Dwarves, Pulley, Millencolin, Ten Foor Pole, Agnostic Front, H2O, All....

What can possibly go wrong?
