Right. So I buy a british copy of this album, get all exited by it 'cus it so damn cool, go to Amazon.com to write a review, and find out that the American version has different tracks - and more bands in total to boot. All I can say is that the songs I do have on my album are some of the best punk songs around - going from the classic-rock flavored Donnas to the heavier sounds of Beatsteaks to the awsome power of the ska band Voodoo Glow Skulls. If you think that 'caus a band isn't screaming out at the top of their lungs, they're too commercial, don't get this album. But if you prefer actual rock, with incredible guitar playing and down to earth lyrics, buy it. Buy it now.

Man, I've always listened to alternative and rock music, but at my friends urging I decided to buy this CD, and at a great price what did I have to lose. Absolutly nothing, this CD is awesome, with some nice tracks like "Bath of Least Resistance" by NOFX and my favorite "True Belivers" by the Bouncing Souls, to some fast and funny songs like "She broke my ...". And with awesome bands like NOFX, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Guttermouth, and Millencolin this CD is almost perfect. However the Pennywise song is horrible, and definetly a song the disc could use without, but otherwise some solid, good punk music.

Punk-O-Rama.....Enough Said,

This was the first Punk-O-Rama CD I listened to, and boy I was not dissapointed. Most of the songs on this CD are the type of punk I would listen to, Quite fast and energetic. The best song on the CD has to be either NOFX - Bath of Least Resistance (NOFX being the greatest punk band of all time, of course), or Beatsteaks - Let me in. I heard the Beatsteaks for the first time on this CD and there absolutely bloody excellent. Obviously, The Cd is made complete with songs from the Descendents, Pulley, Pennywise, Dropkick Murphy's. The only let down on this CD is Noise Conspiracy, there song on this CD, well plainly sucks i'm sorry to say. But overall this CD is one hell of a good listen if your into punk. That's all, oh yeah, buy it! bye

New Punk-o-rama= One of the best!,

I just bought the brand new Punk-o-rama cd, and was pleasantly surprised. The tracks were some of the best, even when compared to my favorite Punk-O-Rama, the third. NOFX is great, as always, and the songs by Pennywise, Bad Religion, Dropkick Murphy's, and the Voodoo Glow Skulls were great. Not a single bad song on this cd, and even the Guttermouth track is pretty good. I definitely reccomend this to any die-hard punk fan, like myself.

5 stars don't go to every song but for the amazing value of this album. What could be better, 23 EPITAPH bands on one recording and priced at $5US. There are new songs from the 3 BIG Epitaph bands, "Millencolin", "NOFX" and "Pennywise". There are new bands like "Deviates" that show so much promise. Of course there is a great sample of other bands, I'd never tried before, like "Bad Relgion", "Osker", "Guttermouth", "Death by Stereo", "All", "Voodoo Glow Skulls", "Beatstaeaks", "The Bouncing Souls", "Rancid", "Pulley" and "Descendants". Heck they are all good. This compilation has encouraged me to try other bands, and I've already baught my first Bad Relgion album. Many people have the wrong opinnion of punk. Really its fast, diverse and original. This album is a great example of how different it is. There is wonderful soft, hard, ska and funny stuff on here that can appeal just to about anyone if they give it a try. I would say that only 2 songs don't really fit the punk catergory. "Hot Water Music" is a little slow and "INC" sounds like the Beetles. Neither are that bad, but not that good either. This punkorama was my first, but I might try some others out if there as good as this. It is well worth its price, there is something here for every punk/metal fan. In fact, Epitaph are almost giving it away.

This has some good songs. However, some of the usual Punk-o-rama line up let me down. Millencolin, let me down. Pennywise did as well. Which is pretty surprising cause they are generally great bands. However, the Guttermouth and Osker tracks were AMAZING! Which is also very surprising because generally those bands usually aren't that great. I discovered a decent song by a newly discovered band: Deviates. The Bad Religion song was amazing but I already had a recording of that song. The Pulley song was amazing as well. And NOFX, the [worse] unreleased songs are supposed to appear in the Fat Music Series, Not the Punk-o-rama series. Oh well. Pick this up to complete your collection. However, this just doesn't live up to the previous Volumes: 3, 4, and 5. Pick up 4 and 5 first. If you don't like them that much I strongly suggest you stop there. You don't want to land up with CDs like this.

Buy this CD. It is an awesome compilation of really good punk music. One of my favorite songs is Strangled-Oskar. There is not a bad track on this CD. If you like punk you should already own this one.

Hey, what can you say? It has some good songs (Pulley, Bouncing Souls, Bad Religion are examples) and some bad ones (I hate the Pennywise song). If you can find this for price, get it. It's worth a listen.
