wow. lots of melodic "punk" music here. all the radio and mtv bands all the skater kids know and love. gas huffer and total chaos are the only bright spots on this otherwise dismal disc.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Punk-O-Rama Ever, July 16, 2000
This review is from: Punk-O-Rama (Audio CD)
There isn't much to say here except that all of the other Punk-O-Rama CDs leaned towards either hardcore or something different. This is pure punk rock, and can be listened to the whold way through without changing tracks. It has NoFX, Pennywise, Ten Foot Pole, Down By Law, Rancid, Bad Religion, and two classic Offspring cuts. And those are just my favorites. This is great for skating and for something really cheap but really good. The best song is Liza & Louise by NoFX.

5.0 out of 5 stars This CD is the best mix of Punk you can find., January 1, 1999

Okay, so the name isn't the most creative, but the songs are the best you can find. This is put out by Epitph the best record lable. After I herd this CD I went out and bought all of the CDs that these songs came off of. Also, if you like this try Operation Ivy, they are the best band in the world.

5.0 out of 5 stars Changed My Life!!!, January 21, 2008

This review is from: Punk-O-Rama (Audio CD)
When I was in 8th grade, one of my best friends returned from Washington DC with this cd... I had never heard of Epitaph, NOFX, Bad Religion.. and all I knew of Offspring was from MTV! we popped this in the cd player and probably played it 100 times in a row... Definitely paved the way musically for me and showed me that there were things living under the rocks...

This CD has the best songs by the artists. the Bad Religion song Do What You Want is awesome. (you can see where Pennywise gets their music style.) The NOFX songs are really good, the Rancid songs are the best, the SNFU song rocks, the only ones i dont listen to often are Gas Huffer and Wayne Kramer.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best punk album out there., January 13, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Punk-O-Rama (Audio CD)
All of the Punk-O-Ramas are good but every song on this CD is grate. After lissining to this CD I went out and bought all the bands on this CD. This is powerful punk, with some early offspring and the best Bad Religion CD ever. I mean any punk album put out from Epitaph must be good, but nun compare to this one.
