Brilliant Punk Compilation!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Punk-O-Rama, Vol. 3 (Audio CD)
This is a well made compilation. Some of the highlights are Nofx-We threw gasoline on the fire and now we have stumps for arms and no eyebrows" and Bad Religon-You. This is a crowning jewel for the ever-growing punk o rama series. It adds a dash of ska with Voodoo Glow Skulls and 1 against 1. With such classic punk bands as Nofx, Pennywise, Ten Foot Pole and Rancid you cannot Fail in buying this CD! A must have for all punk rockers.

Very cheap, one of the best Punk-O-Ramas,
By Chris Pollard (UK) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Punk-O-Rama, Vol. 3 (Audio CD)
Punk-o-Rama 3 is a brilliant album. It's a single cd compilation. It has some of the best names in punk on this album, like Pennywise and Rancid. It has 27 songs on it, so you are bound to like a few songs on it, but this isnt a problem actually as 99% of the songs are good, but it does have some really bad ones too. The album is like a taster for all the bands contained on the cd as it is only $4 .99, which I dont think, is bad at all. This album is a good way to see which bands you will like. This also contains one song that you can't buy anywhere else, for example NOFX's "We threw Gasoline on the fire and now we have stumps for arms and no eyebrows" which is a really good song .

The Best Buy at only $5,
By A Customer

With such band as NOFX, Pennywise and other less known but kick butt bands. This is where it's at this CD defines punk music and with over 20 songs of pure punk pleasure there is nothing bad to say about this CD. Buy this CD now and you will truly own it all.

Not the best Punk-O-Rama!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Punk-O-Rama, Vol. 3 (Audio CD)
It has its high points, but some real stinkers contaminate it.
1. We Threw Gasoline... (A-) Not too appealing at first, but the chorus is incredible and irresistable 2. Everybodies Girl (A++) Pure bliss from start to finish! Unbelievable. 3. Worlds On Heroin (A-) A lazy opening riff? Nah, it picks itself up quickly, impressivley. 4. Say Anything (A+) It only gets one plus because it's too short! 5. Delinquent Song (A-) Some ska is here. Slower than its predecessors, but it's excellent with the right mindset. 6. Everready (A-) Good. 7. Greed Motivates (A) Grabs you and goes really fast! 8. Telepath Boy (A-) Fun for all 50 seconds it lasts. 9. Never Connected (A-) Nice. 10. Gotta Go (Grade not available) I always skip this, so I wouldn't know. 11. Defiled (A-) Rockin'! 12. Haula$$ Hyena (B+) Kinda annoying and familiar. 13. Rats In The Hallway (A-) There were better songs on Rancid's debut (Hyena, Detroit, Rejected.) 14. Steel-Toed Sneakers (A) Great! 15. Bad Seed (D+) They sure got the "bad" part right. 16. Rotten Egg (A) Annoying to some, but I love it. 17. Poison Steak (A) Annoying to some, but I love it. 18. No Equalizer (Grade not available) Once again, I always skip it. 19. Alright (A-) Since this is a demo song, it's kinda trite and sterile, but OK. 20. A.D.D. (B-) Why do I have to force myself to listen to it if I'm not too crazy about it? 21. Lozin' Must (F) Millencolin, Millencolin, Millencolin, you're capable of much more than this puke. 22. You (A++) Quite a contrast from Lozin' Must, indeed. 23. Ordinary Fight (A+) Would've been an excellent ending song, but no... 24. If (C) ...this mediocrity had to be dropped. 25. Wake Up (C-) An unreleased Pennywise song. Unfortunately, listening to it makes it clear why it was left off the superior Full Circle. I personally think Punk-O-Rama 5 is the CD to get first. On Punk-O-Rama 3, few of the tracks hit that "Aw yeah, this is amazing" vibe or are very memorable. On Punk-O-Rama 5, the tracks by Zeke, Millencolin, All, Bouncing Souls, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Union 13, Osker and Pennywise all surpass those on Punk-O-Rama 3.

Still The Best!,

I've just bought the 5th CD from this series and this one is still the best. Bad Religion, Ten Foot Pole, NOFX, Pennywise; it doesn't get much better than that. Love, love, love this CD. It lags a bit in the middle but it starts hard and ends hard, so I'm not complaining. If you're a fan of NOFX, the non-album track alone is worth the price of the CD in and of itself....

A compilation of some of the best songs ever!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Punk-O-Rama, Vol. 3 (Audio CD)
There are so many good songs on this CD. The highlights are especially NOFX and the Voodoo Glow skulls. The songs they play on this CD are the best songs I have ever heard. In a store, it only costs about 4 bucks, so go buy it, I personally would spend 4 bucks on the NOFX son alone.

This CD, of the 4 Punkorama CDs released so far, is the best one yet. the NOFX song is GREAT and all the others are really cool. if you enjoy punk rock, this has some of the best punk bands doing their best material. and if you are wanting to sample some punk, to see what it's all about, this CD is a great example of what punk is. in other words, it kicks *ss
