2.0 out of 5 stars Eh., January 12, 2001

Back at the Bodega Bay Inn, where the caretaker just happens to be a researcher, trying to piece together a formula to create artificial life. Lucky him, as he finds the puppets and Toulon's secrets. Unfortunitly, a big mean demon from the 4th dimension is also after Tolon's secret and sends demon puppets after all the reasearchers of the artifical life project, and the puppets. Fortunately, the puppets have become good (as opposed to evil) and are squarly on the side of their new master (the caretaker). Silly, boring, confusing. The puppets take a turn toward cute and friendly (Blade even dances!), which is a nice change of pace but not really enough to totally save this one. The new puppet is "Decapitron", with multible heads and a silly concept. Go for it if you a fan of the series, you know youre gonna anyway, all others avoid this one.

2.0 out of 5 stars Um........., December 28, 2000
This review is from: Puppet Master 4 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I saw this movie only once when it first hit video stores. I must stay, that I really don't remember too much of it. I have ordered it to add to my Puppet Master collection. In my opinion, PM3 was far superior to any and everyone in the series; even part one!! I am looking forward to Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys due out in 2001.

I do remember this movie more so that part 5. I thought the special effects in this movie were mediocre. The God Suetek looks...well, it just a big puppet with a man behind the large black cape working him. I think they were trying to get back story on the anger the God had for Toulon for stealing his secret. Which, I think that the series is really striving to push that too much, and they don't do a good job. We all know that is was a supposed spell stolen from the God that brings the puppets to life. It is a weak link!

I will maybe have a better review after i watch it again.

4.0 out of 5 stars It was not bad but could of done better, March 9, 2000

This movie was not all that bad. It starts out kind of slow and boring, but towards the end it gets better. I was surprised at how it turned out with a new master. I would never expected that. This is a must see movie for all you Puppet Master fans.

I've seen all the puppet master movies and this is not as good as the others but I guess it will have to do.

1.0 out of 5 stars ugh another bad one..., August 3, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Puppet Master 4 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
and I thought 2 was bad... it totally loses the essence of the original. I only finished watching it by forcing ymself to do so...the plot was very obvious and they leaned to far on that little love story. the ending was one of those abrupt "huh? where's the rest?" type things...

4.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as PM3, but still well done, April 22, 1999

A good addition to the Puppet Master series, it attempts to tie up some loose ends and continuing with the theme of the puppets mirroring the mentality of their current master. Some fun sequences, and definitely more characterization of the puppets, but nowhere near as suspenseful as the other films.

3.0 out of 5 stars Cool special effects but no scares, January 14, 1999
This review is from: Puppet Master 4 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This fun third sequel to Puppet Master is very enjoyable but has no scary stuff in it like the previous movies. The puppets turning good depleted the scares imensley. The film also lacked action. However, like every Puppet Master movie, it is still fun to watch.

4.0 out of 5 stars WHEN BAD PUPPETS TURN GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, February 20, 2002
This review is from: Puppet Master 4 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Blade,Pinhead,Tunnler, and the rest of the puppets go toe-to-toe with thier most sinister enemy yet,a team of evil Totems!
Powered by the same magic as the puppets, these ugly little demons are out for blood and appear impossible to kill. But Andre Toulon, the Puppet Master, has a trick up his sleeve when he helps the puppets create the new puppet to help kill the Totems, the powerful"Decapitron".Who will win the war between good and evil?"

Puppet Master is okay and offers cool special effects!
