This is a very cool book for creative kids. Part book, part activity center, it teaches about puppets, shows how to make a wide variety of puppets, and even provides enough puppet-making materials and templates to keep kids amused for a whole afternoon. Better yet, the book itself turns into a puppet theater the kids can use to put on their shows. The projects included in the Funstation book are recommended for kids age 8 and older. More advanced puppet-making instructions make for great parent/child projects.

This book provides great ideas to make projects with the kids. We use it as an activity to keep my 7 and 9 year old girls busy during the summer vacation. They love to use the enclosed puppet theater to make puppet shows for their 1 year old brother. It is really a great way for the whole family to work together on a creative and entertaining project.
