My pekingese dog accepted this harness without any problem at all. I bought the size medium and it fits perfectly. She weighs about 12 lbs for reference. She's very comfortable in this during her walk. The material is nice and soft. To put this on, the opening for her neck slides over her head and she has no problem with that. Highly recommended!

My mini dachshund loves her harness! The cloth is soft and every time we put it on she runs to the door. It's cute design and fit make me worry less my puppy will get away from me in public. Great harness, highly recommend!

I love these soft Puppia harnesses! They're so easy to get on and off, and my dogs seem very comfortable in them.

I bought this for my miniature dachshund. She is a little over weight at about 12 pounds so I got her the medium. She has a 16 in chest and a 10 in neck. The medium fit perfectly on her. It doesn't dig into her like most other harnesses and the color is very cute. You can tighten it up so even if she looses a few pounds it will still fit her. Good quality, I have been using it a little over a year now and it is still in good shape. I am going to purchase another one in blue for my male dachshund.

These were 1 of four I purchased same time same brand. Again problems with size (stated wrong on webpage) and clip- bad bad clip could not even open sent back to Amazon for refund.

I have no dogs presently, but I
do have two cats. My small
cat fits well inside the small-sized
harness, but, unfortunately, my
large cat is too big for the large
and too small for the extra large.
Be careful about staking cats
outside with this harness for too
long, though, and keep an eye on
them when/if you do. They can
sometimes pull the harness taught
and slip their heads out through
the neck hole. Very agile and
flexible, those cats!

This product is perfect for our Rat Terrier. Easy to put on and take off, puts no pressure on the do yet keeps her secure, and everyone loves the snappy pink plaid design.

Bought the puppia soft harness for my dog Cocoa, it is so comfortable and she looks so cute. She can not get out of it like the one I had bought at a pet store. She is a mini Pinscher and has a small head and thick neck. She just steps right in and it is so easy to hook it and off we go on our walk. My dog is 10 pounds and wears the medium. If your dog has a really huge head it might not be as comfortable. I can see where it could be tight, that is why I am telling you her breed and weight. I've used Puppia Harnesses for a long time now. They fit well and are secure. I've never had an issue with one of the dogs slipping out of the harness or having it harm them. Other harnesses can pull at a dog's neck or throat and cause harm. These sit low enough on the chest to avoid that but are still secure enough that you don't need to worry about the dog slipping out and getting loose. We have a Yorkie and a very active Doxie and they both love these. We've also used them in the past with a Jack Russell and Cocker Spaniel, so they fit and work well with a wide range of dogs. They are very well made with some very pretty fabric options.
