5.0 out of 5 stars great series for young readers
This is a great series for young kids. My 5 year old loves dogs and this is his favorite series. It teaches about puppy/dog care, different types of dogs, dogs who have jobs, and the responsibility and maturity it takes to have a pet. I especially like the first few books where the Petersons learn to accept the fact that they can't have a puppy and why they are not ready...

1.0 out of 5 stars need #'s in series
I need to know what number the books are in the serious - as in #1 or #11 - I can't tell from the pictures or the writeups for the books.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Puppy Place #6: Flash (Paperback)
Me (12 going on 13) and my family foster dogs that's why I wrote the title that way.

Flash is a Border Collie. Why did someone abandon this smart, quick energetic border collie. Lizzy and Charles and their cousins go detective to find out why. And who will adopt this fun little guy? or will the owners reclaim their dog?

I love this book a lot, it is not boring, instead it is written in an easy to read, fun format. At the same time I don't feel like it's for a little kid. I would do the same thing if someone just dumped a puppy in my yard, So it is easy to relate to and understand. I would highly recomend this book to anyone who is a dog lover, or is insterested in dogs and doesn't want a lecture of a story of one.

*I wrote an answer to: need #'s in series

so if you want a list of the books go there
