My 2 and 1/2 year old son told Santa Claus he wanted a real puppy for Christmas. The wise Santa had told my son that he must prove first that he could care for the puppy before he could get a real one. I have a 4 year old daughter and a 2 year old nephew. They all fight over whatever anyone has that is different. These were cheap and fit the bill. My kids have tied leashes to all of them and they drag them all over the house. They provide at least a half hour of entertainment each day. They have been dragged, beaten and dropped multiple times since Christmas. However, it has only been 3 days. My in-laws real dogs honestly thought they were puppies when we opened them and turned them on (they do not come with batteries). The real dogs licked each toy puppy which was cute. For the money, they fit the bill and did the job. If they last through the end of January, I will be shocked as they are being totally abused. If they made a bigger, more expensive version that you could take for a decent walk around the house, they would be awesome.

my 3yo loves this toy. She enjoys watching it flip and do its tricks. Thanks to her older cousin (a boy) she learned how to put the puppy close to other stuffed animals so when it flips it kicks the other stuffed animal. Its bark is loud and there isn't a volume control so it can get annoying after a while.

I bought this for my 1 year old daughter. She gets a kick out of watching it bark and jump. It works quite well. There isnt much of an educational value since all it does is jump and bark - but she has learned to turn it on. It is pretty durable. She has chewed on it, thrown it...pulled it and it still works fine. It will entertain her for about 10 minutes and she is on to something else.

My kids had this toy when they were babies and loved it so I bought it for my 7 month old granddaughter. The first time it flipped she was startled and then it was all laughs. She loves it and I love to hear her laugh!

Sure to annoy all that come in contact with it. Just like that popcorn push thingy you had as a kid. Barks and sits then flips non stop. Your friends will be hiding batteries and cussing the person that bought it for their kid. Perfect revenge on your friends with kids that insist on bringing them to your bachelor pad to mess with all your cool stuff that isn't childproof. Exxxxcellent Smithers....

While it was fine with quality for the price paid, it barks and flips incessantly. Rarely does it land on its four paws meaning it will bark and try to flip on the ground. Really not very entertaining, but it may be fine for some folks. I don't want a refund as I feel I got what I paid for.

I bought this for my 2 year old son who loves dogs. It barks, flips, walks and it is very cute. My only issue with it is that it constantly barks. My son loves it, but for the adults it's a bit annoying. It would be better if it had an intermittent bark instead. It's a lot less effort than a real dog though, and the kids seem to like it just as much.

It so far, doesn't land on it's feet when it flips. I have Energizer batteries in it, so it should be enough power. And I've done it on all types of surfaces but still - no landing. Cute, anyway.
