Book Description

Do You Have A New Puppy? Get This Best-Selling Kindle Book and Get Started Today!

Is your puppy driving you crazy?
Is he nipping and play-biting your hands?
Does he grab things and run off with them?
Does he run away from you instead of coming when you call him?
Does he bite at his leash, or try to pull you everywhere you go?
Is he chewing up your stuff?

Puppies are so cute, but they are a handful. If you don't start
training them quickly, they will soon grow into problem dogs.

Follow the 6 weekly lessons in this book to:
* Teach your puppy to greet guests politely
* Come when you call him
* Take toys politely when you offer them
* Drop whatever he has in his mouth
* Stay away from food or other objects
* Stop nipping and play/biting
* Listen to you even when he's excited
* Walk nicely on the leash
* Lay on a mat quietly while you eat meals
* Build good habits for a lifetime
* and much more

Laid out in an easy-to-follow weekly progression, each behavior is
carefully broken down into simple steps, with clear directions on what
to practice each week. The lessons build on each other so you can teach
your puppy how to handle harder and harder challenges. It's fun for
both you and your puppy, and you will amazed what he can learn!

Scroll up & download today and get on your way to having a well-behaved dog right away!

2.0 out of 5 stars Would have been a great review but... December 19, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Have our first puppy arriving from a breeder tomorrow so I selected this book based the reviews. All looks good until I got to the part that says "You can find advice on housetraining in my booklet 'Housetraining success formula... available for amazon kindle"

Really?? So if you buy this book you'll learn everything you need to get a "Better-Behaved Puppy" EXCEPT how to housetrain your new puppy unless you buy her other book. This is a "bait and switch" in my mind.

Come on Carol, give us a "Puppy Training" book with everything we need to know about training a puppy including the housetraining part (one of the first hurdles a new puppy owner faces) - the rest of your book is actually very good. But you need to change your kindle book strategy to make your readers feel loved like you do your puppies. Or, change your Title and description on the cover and synopsis to be very clear that this is not a broad "Puppy Training" book.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Essential Guide If You Plan To Get A Puppy! August 9, 2012
By StevieV
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Puppies like little children need guidance. It is a sad fact that many dogs end up in shelters because they are abandoned by their owners who let them have their way while growing up, only to turn into unmanageable burdens. With Carol Miller's, CDT - Puppy Training: 6 Weeks To A Better Behaved Puppy it doesn't have t be that way.

From the get-go a step-by-step foundation is established from the time you bring your new puppy home to its first walk outside. You have six weeks of step-by-step training that will be building a bound of obedience and trust with your puppy that is tempered by loving patience.

Training basics in this program uses positive reinforcement backed by science that is fun, short and simple. With these techniques and strategies at your fingertips worrying about your puppy chewing on your stuff, jumping on people, nipping and other problem behaviors becomes a thing of the past.

Is it easy? I believe a more precise question would be is it worth it? My answer, absolutely! When you have a puppy who is properly trained from the beginning with guided patience you will in turn groom a loving, obedient companion for life whose acceptable behavior you can trust will make for a happy relationship and a happy home.

Currently I do not have a dog, but when I get one in the near future this will be the first book I will have on hand to start building a loving, trusting relationship with my puppy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book! Not just for new puppies. August 9, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I have a nine month old Australian Sheppard puppy that still could use some training. So I bought this e-book.
Bella has been fairly well behaved but started exhibiting some new behavior lately like chewing up shoes, a cell phone charging cord, an expensive crochet hook, and the rug!
I learned by reading Carol's book that's my Bella is now a teenager! I see I've got a lot of work to do.

This is a great book! The book is well thought out and constructed. I love the week by week lessons, things to accomplish, things to do, and the check lists.
She has included fun games to play with your puppy that teach as well as entertain. Teaching your puppy the emergency down can save your dogs life.

The appendix at the end of the book is really handy. You can quickly look up what you need to know. A clickable table of contents makes referring back to lessons easy.
The training techniques in Carol's book make perfect sense and doable.

Overall a wonderful well written book that will result in a well mannered dog. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has a dog. You will both benefit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Puppy Training Can Be Fun August 4, 2012
By lesleyc
Format:Kindle Edition
I got this book to see if I could learn any new ideas of training my puppy. I am really pleased that I did get it because I love the format that this book takes. Simple weekly sessions with concise and easy to follow instructions on what to do with your puppy everyday.

I Think that my puppy has learned a lot and I have also learned. I guess that one of the hardest things that I found was that the book tells you to stop your puppy doing the cute things we love like jumping up on you because, and I must admit, that when my pup gets older and heavier I wouldn't want her jumping up on me and as the author states it is much harder for us as trainers if we ignore little things like that.

So well done. This is a fun book and I am glad that I got it. I recommend that if you are trying to train your puppy then this is a nice simple and easy book to follow.

5.0 out of 5 stars easy to follow and amazing results! August 1, 2012
By warg
Format:Kindle Edition
I got this book for my new puppy, and although I've only been working with him for a couple of weeks, he's really learned a lot. I love the format: weekly, with a set of instructions explaining what I need to do each day. I only do a couple of 5 minute sessions, sometimes 3, each day, and I'm amazed at how much my little guy has learned. Thanks!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Reference March 5, 2013
By Bean
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I am a first time puppy owner and this book has been a wonderful resource that I have used over and over again as I continue to train my puppy. I used the "weeks" loosely and went at the speed of my own puppy, and would progress to the next week once I was sure the puppy was ready. All of the training steps were detailed and easy to follow, even for a novice like myself. Highly recommended.
