Except for a few songs, it was a good mix of 80's Dance songs. I actually needed only a couple of songs from this album for my personal 80's Collection CD's but I didn't mind the rest of them. They just brought back the memories. The best part of purchasing music from AMAZON.com (besides the FREE S&H!!!)is the fact that you can sample the songs so you have some ideas of what you are getting. The PRICE(AMAZON.COM) is very comparable to other websites and besides, you CANNOT beat the FREE shipping.

CDs I own that is the best of 80s dance hits. I listen to it all the time and it takes me back in time and always puts a smile on my face! If you are looking for a CD that has it all, this is it.

Pure 80's Dance is a very good CD. I think this music set the stage for future dance music. I would highly recommend this CD.

If you love that techno-freestyle feel of the 80s, you're gonna love this CD. I grew up in the 90s, but let me tell you again if you like 80s music, this CD is great.

I grew up in the 1980's and this cd takes me back to simpler time. I listen to this cd when getting ready for work and dance across the room. I was really happy and surprised to find my favorite dance song, Together Forever on it. I recommend this cd to anyone who wants to put a beat to their step and also remembers the 80's

Okay so um... I collect 80s music. I live 80s music. I have rare club gems and radio hits that haven't been heard since there debut. And these songs are solid gold worthy of American Bandstand for sure. The problem with collections though is they always lack something and for a dance CD not to have Madonna or Prince is a big huh? Not mention the rulers of the 80s club scene Erasure, ABC, or The Pet Shop Boys. However, it has some hard to find gems for the 80s geek who wants to deeper into the 80s scene as opposed to just playing Rock It, Like A Virgin, and Billy Jean all the time. So for the novice 80s nerd this is a good start but I urge you to go much much deeper.

I love this CD! It has a lot of my old favorites. I think it's a worthy purchase.

Great CD. Sure to get everyone in a good mood, esp. when Debbie Deb's "when I hear music" comes on. Despite a couple of duds, this is a fresh mix. Makes me want to learn how to breakdance.....

more than half of the selections here are garbage.
