Okay, here's how the marketing mentality works. Take an already released album, add new tracks and the fans, even the ones who bought the original, will rush out and buy it. Right? Absolutely. Sure, there will be those who will be mad as hell. Why are we being treated this way? We're being cheated!

I suppose there may be a slight argument for that sort of thinking, but not, in my opinion, where Blake Shelton's MORE PURE BS is concerned. His hit, "Home," is, all by itself, well worth the extra money and even the addition of what seems a duplicate album to my collection. "Home" is quite easily the finest song that Shelton has recorded and the other two new tracks, "Chances" and "I Can't Walk Away," are wonderful additions to the excellent tracks on the original PURE BS album.

Besides, if you're really bent about the prospect of having to buy the new album, simply download the new tracks from Amazon (for a nominal fee), add them to the original album and have a great listening experience.

With PURE BS and the new MORE PURE BS, Shelton truly emerges as a bona fide Country star and I'll expect a lot more great stuff from him in the future.

THE HORSEMAN

I think this guy is terrific. He definitely has his own distinctive style. Thats' not easy to attain I believe in C & W music. I predict he'll be an even bigger star as the years go by. This CD is classic Blake Shelton. If you've enjopyed his other albums, you'll love this one as well.

I adore this album! Blake Shelton's dreamy baritone has minimal country twang, which really appeals to this rock-n-roll gal. This CD contains a couple of Blake's fun songs - complete with the wit and storytelling that Blake and country music are known for. There are also a couple ballads to set a romantic mood and melt a lady's heart.

"MORE Pure BS" contains an additional three songs, including Michael Buble's classic "Home". Blake can sing anything. This CD proves it. From upbeat country rock to classic country to love songs, Blake's range is peeking through in each track. Nearly every song on this CD is a favorite.

This revised release definitely places Blake Shelton in the pantheon of superstar country vocalists. He's distinctive because he's comfortable with tradition and more modern styles too; he could even be called the new archetypical male country singer. Blake has always cultivated the honky-tonk sound and identifies with its crowd, but now he proves he can croon a tender ballad with as well as anyone too.

This disk is unique with a hilarious sense of humor to go with fun, up-tempo songs and ballads. "The More I Drink" is great, along with "The Last Country Song," which also proves he's respectful of country tradition. (Jones and Anderson) "Don't Make Me" is terrific at expressing longing and yearning, a great vehicle for his voice. "Home" will find another audience for Blake Shelton, bringing new fans to him and country music in general.

The key to long-term success seems to be an instantly identifiable style. It isn't enough being a "country hunk" in yet another cowboy hat. Blake is much more. He's got his own style and the pipes to perform any song.

Blake Shelton at his best. I love the way he does M. Buble's Home. Really good country music.

I love Blake. Ever since Austin got him started, he has been a part of my everyday with his music. I love his version of home. He can make anything sound great. A real talented guy.

Every song on this CD tells me why Blake is one of my favorite performers! Love his smooth style.

This is my first Blake Sheldon album and I loved it. I think HOME is such a great song. I also loved all the songs he sang with Miranda.
