I have heard several of the 'Pure Brazil' compilations and this is by far THE BEST ONE they have put together so far. I love the sound of the old-school samba, and this CD has most of the classics. There are only a few CDs out there that I have bought several copies of to give away as gifts, this is one of them.

This CD has some nice Samba and MBP songs by various artists. However, none of these songs reaches the level of some of the better known Brazilian musicians.
